I do not condone any harassment against Datae, these are just my thoughts on the matter of Beatrun.
Datae is a Modder for Gmod who made a mod called Beatrun, where you have Mirror's Edge style gameplay, who like the title says, is an asshole.
They did a LOT of things. One, if you want to actually play the mod, you have to either pay 10 dollars to own it outright, or pay 4 dollars a month. How generous.
I also have to talk about how Datae isn't making most of the mod. It's DICE who is.
Most of the assets in Beatrun are ripped straight out of Mirror's Edge and Catalyst. So all of the work is scripting. That's fine if the mod was free, but it isn't.
Now, to the worst part.
Datae fucking doxxes any person who pirates the mod.
That's right. How dare anyone pirate a mod that is overpriced and steals assets. They obviously deserve to have their Steam account, IP and their country leaked!
I obviously won't show you where they are, but Datae has them up all for us to see like it's a trophy.
So, in conclusion, Datae sucks and use the money you were going to use on Beatrun to buy Mirror's Edge, a much better game, than their mod.
